125 years ago, L. Frank Baum dreamed up a world filled with yellow brick roads and unexpected adventures — right from his home in Chicago. Fast forward to today, and our friends at Allied Global Marketing invited us to bring a bit of that Oz magic to life.

With cameras rolling and gear in tow, we hit the road — from the Windy City to the golden shores of Manhattan Beach, CA, then over to Long Island, NY. The mission? Capture a surprise stunt promoting Sphere Vegas’ upcoming screenings of The Wizard of Oz. Think pop-up magic, holiday crowds, and plenty of “Did that just happen?” moments.
Our crew handled various aspects of production, including:

BEHIND THE SCREAMS: KENTUCKY STYLE
When a client calls and says, “Let’s do a branded shoot and we need full photography & video production at an amusement park,” there are only two words to say: buckle up. The Dugud crew hit the road and headed straight into the heart of Kentucky, cameras in tow, to take on a project that promised thrills, spills, and maybe a sweet treat or two.
The location? The one and only Kentucky Kingdom, a local legend packed with roller coasters, prizes galore and the new reveal of Discovery Meadow. The mission? Deliver full-service video production and a suite of still photography that captured not just the attractions—but the electric feeling of being there.

From the moment we stepped through the gates, we knew this would be anything but a routine shoot. Kentucky Kingdom doesn’t sit still—and neither could we. Over two days, we covered:

B-roll of food, games, mascots, and magical mayhem
Our crew quickly learned to balance precision with spontaneity—one moment we were setting up a rig for a hero shot of the main coaster, the next we were chasing their new mascot who had a special gift for our participants. The result was a full-throttle sizzle reel, a collection of hero stills ready for billboards and brochures, and enough b-roll to make even the most serious editor crack a smile.

We were thrilled when our friends at Allied Global Marketing reached out to us for a special project: capturing the remarkable work being done at MLK Community Healthcare. Over the course of two days, our team had the privilege of documenting the newly redesigned maternity ward and the vital services provided by this outstanding facility.

From the moment we stepped through the doors of MLK Community Healthcare’s facilities, it was clear that this was more than just a hospital; it was a community dedicated to caring for mothers and their families. Our crew worked meticulously to stage lighting and set up interviews with doctors, midwives, and patients, each sharing their unique experiences and insights. The warmth and dedication of the community were evident in every conversation we captured.
In addition to the interviews, we filmed b-roll across multiple properties, ensuring we highlighted the full scope of the hospital's state-of-the-art facilities and compassionate care. Every shot was crafted to tell the story of MLK Community Healthcare’s commitment to improving the health and well-being of the Los Angeles community.

Our friends at One World Observatory invited us to the top of the world so the Dugud team (and our agency partner, Allied Global Marketing) could showcase the incredible experience their team provides. We partnered with Allied Global Marketing and Acorn TV (AMC Networks) for this exclusive interview between Australian actress, Marta Dusseldorp, and television presenter, Gloria Calzada, for Acorn TV’s Latin American market. While we were only responsible for the virtual directing and video capture of this particular project, we couldn’t be happier to have bore witness to this special conversation that took place across three countries - Australia, Mexico & the United States.
